Southern Germany, circa 1820.

The table carcase is cherry wood veneered on softwood. Turned and blackened full columns and shaft ring of the central leg in ebonized pear wood.

Fully sculpted capitals in the form of cones with original gilding.

Original wooden rollers integrated into the three-part table base.

Finely executed gold painting with classicist motifs, depicting chimeras, mermaids, scroll volutes, and palmettes around a centered, polychrome painted flower bouquet.
